Well, back looking at a 2021 Ryker Rally. All depends on if my 2 wheeler sells. How does the handling compare to the F3T?

Dang… I tried to attach a pic but it just didn’t work…
Not much chatter about the Ryker on this forum. Not a big surprise as this is primarily a Spyder site.
The Ryker has a number of limitations by design. But Fun, Fast, & Nimble aren't on that list. We purchased a brand new Rally in 2019 when they first came out. We pretty much had to because we wanted to see if we could improve suspension and handling. But the silver lining turned out to be a great ride and a lot of fun.
There isn't an easier vehicle on the planet to drive. Throttle, steering, and single brake are all you need to master. No upshifting or downshifting, you're always in the 'Right Gear'. There are NO GEARS at all with a CVT transmission. Which works flawlessly, other than a possible jerk or hesitation off the line until you get the hang of it.
Smooth! Smooth! Smooth! With smooth power transfer and a drive shaft that will never vibrate like the belt on a Spyder. No 'Red Dust of Death'. No Sprocket Alignment issues or worries about rocks.
We love our Ryker (which at the time is OOS due to stealing parts to get a customer's Ryker up and running quickly). I just thought I'd give this product a plug. It's not a Spyder, by any means. Wasn't meant to be. But it is a worthy ride and, for some, it is the perfect answer.
The Ryker is every bit as much fun as 2 wheels. It's just different fun. The Ryker is a Blast! We loaned our Ryker to a customer who was having work done on his Spyder at the shop. He went to get lunch and came back. I asked him how he liked it. He said he hated it! A little bit shocked I asked him why? He said it was 'Way Too Fast!'. He almost acted as if I put his life in danger.Greetings from El Sobrante, CA!
Just a note to say that we just bought a 2022 Ryker Sport. WHAT A HOOT!!We’ve been on 2 wheels for 50 years and I always thought that a trike would be boring. MY OPINION HAS BEEN SHATTERED! We are having FUN with this beast.
I never imagined that it accelerates like a big cat! It is like a Ferrari minus a wheel.
I am a mechanic by trade and am enjoying adding upgrades and LED brilliance!
Ride on, ride proud!

Regarding CVT belt life, I also run K&N air filters on both sides. I have nearly 100,000 miles on Rykers. I've done quite a few belt changes. Early on, I was always frustrated that the old belt looked substantially the same as the new belt that I was putting on and when I laid both belts on the garage floor, I could barely feel a difference in the width of each belt. That was when I was trying to adhere to the manual's expectation of changing every 12,000 miles. Two belt changes ago, I stretched it out to 17,000 miles with the same experience. The old belt looks substantially the same as the new one I was putting on. And, this last time, I changed the belt at 20,000 miles with the same experience.
Now, I ride mainly interstates, highways and back roads and I do not ride like a hooligan. My current Ryker has 57,000 miles on it and I just changed belts a week ago. So, I may never change the CVT belt again and just see how long this belt can really last.
Incidentally, I'm using Gates Red Line belts and I'm obviously happy with them. I'm only unhappy with myself for changing the other darn belts too early!![]()
