• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks to the forum....many mods made easier with your input!

Hello my Spyderlover friends:

I just wanted to thank you all who have made my modifications and issues much easier by your comments, posts, etc. !! :2thumbs:

My bike is a 2012 Spyder RT Limited and I have currently just over 4600 miles on it -- had it since March 2013, however, since our "spring" was "winter", only got to ride it since May this year. Enjoyed many trips with friend and did a 1500 mile trip out to Rapid City, SD -- really liked riding through the Black Hills !! :D

My mods include:

RT LED High Mount Brake Light with dual converter
Bluetooth transmitter and headsets
NBV highway peg kit with Widow Pegs
Netting in all storage compartment covers
Radiator Exhaust block-off plate, screened lower bottom plate
RT Bumpskid

Really enjoy the bike. Only major issue is still a vibration we discovered on our ride out to Rapid City at interstate speeds. Anyway, took it to the dealer and the Tech tried to fix it and he did ride it 22 miles total while doing it (he had it a full 7 days). Now we have vibrations starting at 55 mph -- ugh. So.......I ordered a smoothspider tensioner and will adjust the belt for both alignment and tension. Hope that works. Otherwise all is great!

Keep up the great information flow on this forum.....much better than talking to the dealer or Tech....get a lot of great ideas and solutions here!!

Happy and safe ridin' to all :spyder2: :2thumbs:
