• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just sadly sold my 97' Valkyrie & purchased a 2012 Spyder RTS with only 200 miles. Thanks to Finless Bob's how to videos, I just completed replacing all the reflectors with LED's and hooked up the Sena SM10 to the stock radio. Everything works perfectly. I am getting used to the Spyder with each ride. It is a lot different than the Valk but I had to give it up because of back & knee problems. The Spyder allows me to continue riding for some time longer on three wheels instead of two.

I did want to add an option to your video on removing the reflectors to replace with LED's. I was not comfortable removing the reflectors with a heat gun or any other heat source, so I used an old body shop trick I learned some years back for removing body side moldings. Get ahold of some 14Lb. test, or better monofilament fishing line. Get the line under the reflector on one end or the other. Grab each end of the line with both hands. Slowly move the fishing line in a sawing motion. This will cut through the 3M tape & the reflector will fall off. Then remove the 3M tape residue with Goo Gone or even Mineral Spirits. A little safer than using heat.

Again, thanks for all the assistance. I hope to be able to add my help & suggestions as time goes on & I try new things on my RT.

Your welcome!!!

And to be honest I learned this fishing line trick later from other Spyder Lovers that told me about it. However it did not work well for me on the mirrors. I bet it would work well on the reflectors :)

I am so glad I could help you and thanks for adding tips!

If you do not mind, please add this tip to my post about this video so later someone can learn from this tip.
