• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ditto on the thank you. It was a great time. Got to see some old friends and meet new ones. The weather was perfect, food could have been better, (but I didn't pay one red cent to eat so can't complain) and the camaraderie was typical spyder people.

Well done BRP.

Chris

BRP had a nice tent at Sturgis as well though no food. I did get a 75th anniversary Spyder/Sturgis T Shirt and have the undivided attention of a very pretty young lady for 20 min. She told me all about her family and going to Nursing school. And how great the Spyder F3 was. So a belated thank you to BRP for having a good presence at what is basically a Harley party.

Indeed, the weather was perfect.
I was quite impressed with the number of Spyders that were there and the Can Am setup.

It was quite funny to see my Spyder sitting there all alone after everyone left for the track. Oddly, 3 different people, all locals, came to ask me about it as I was gearing up to leave.

I got distracted in doing demo rides, plus I wasn't registered to join in track ride anyway.

As the time got nearer to the track ride, Can Am realized that a lot of folks who signed up for the ride didn't show up and was giving anyone with a Spyder a ticket for the ride. The line of Spyders going around the track went almost half way. Nice day, good group of people, and BRP keep everyone pretty well entertained and up to date as to what was going on. It was nice to see old friends and make new ones.

I spend the better part of Friday working on my newest 'farkle', here's a picture of it, thanks to Tip Schwartzbeck for the idea and material.
