• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Temperature gauge

Well..!!

whats high..digital or clock..?? Mine only has digital and runs 4/5 bars in warm weather up to 117* highest I've been in and 3/4 bars in cooler weather. Mind you we are in southeren California...but have seen here a lot that most change out the clock guages on the RT's because they tend to be off. Can't speak of the 14's as yet...

I would assume he means the analog gauge. Ours runs high all the time. Bordering on the overheat bar on the analog gauge in the middle of the summer here. I uave been contimplating pulling both and replacing them with something else. Just havent decided on which one yet.

Good point, I meant the outside temp.

 Forget what you see... That gauge is actually giving some temperature readings from underneath the bodywork. :gaah:
Think of it as a stopped clock: "Accurate just twice each day!" :D

Mine are both 2 degrees above what I see posted. If we stop and park, or are parked in the sun, residual heating kicks in and the gauges can be 10 degrees off until you get some road air underneath the body.

We have learned not to expect to accurate here.

I don't have a problem with my heat gauge . The gauge is about in the middle so I don't worry about overheating. The ambient temperature is another matter. I have problems with the fuel gauge. With half a tank it shows almost empty. Does anyone have this problem? What do you do other than stop to get gas?

My gage is sooooo wrong and it bugged me soooo much that I put a small piece of black electrical tape over it.
