• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

temp gage

I replaced my temp gage with a 12 volt, that is active only when the ignition is on. I expected the temp info to show up on my dash but it doesn't. I took my RT in for the 3000 and tech said he didn't know how to make that happen but he would do more research.
I am sure someone in Spyder land knows how. Can I get direction that I can give the dealer. Thanks

You need to disconnect the analog fuel gauge also. Unfortunately it is all or nothing on this subject. If you want we can do it for you when we align your Spyder this weekend.

Of course replacing your analog fuel gauge with something useful is also a good idea... I have found the fuel gauge in the screen to be much more accurate.

Really? I've found the fuel gauges on the 2014s to be WAAAAYYYY... more accurate than in previous years.
I'm now perfectly comfortable with running the bike down to less than a quarter-tank remaining, and over 200 miles on the trip odometers... nojoke :2thumbs:

But if you want to use one of the digital gauges; you're going to have to use two...

Problem solved..!!

Don't you just love it when things work out so nicely...way to go "Squared Away"...:2thumbs:

Bob, I totally agree, the 2014 fuel gauge is pretty darn good. Unlike the bouncing gauges of the past this one can be relied on to provide accurate readings.

...NO more stopping at 135 miles... Just in case!
I filled up yesterday, with 210 miles on the trip odometers...I took 5.428 gallons. (I'm too anal-retentive for my own good! :opps:)
At that point, my "Dead-Reckoning" on the gauge, was telling me that I was close; but not unduly so!

BTW: I've "stretched the tank" to over 220 miles, and still had well over a gallon and a half left...
These bikes are awesome!
