I recently purchased and had installed JRI shocks from BajaRon. First, I want to thank Ron for his patience and details when I asked questions. When I asked my initial questions with my requirements, he provided great information regarding the shocks. I do not impulse purchase and research as much as I can. At first, I was going to go Elka Stage II, but ended up with JRI based on the info Ron provided. It was not a sales pitch on his end at all, just facts for me to discern.
I had a dealer install them. Only issue is I had to trim the beauty cover slightly, my fault on not telling the tech to do it. Easy enough, and it was my fault since it was clearly mentioned in the instructions.
As soon as I sat on the bike I noticed a difference, it felt taller. I CANNOT believe the difference in the ride, it is day and night. The bike even seems to stop quicker. The bike sticks to the road and the ride is so much better. I have a nice twisty road to test it on, not long but sharp turns to left and right. Incredible. I have a BajaRon sway bar, Vrenstein tires, and now the JRI shocks.
I cannot be happier at this point. Next, I think is an ECU stage 1 flash. Thanks again Ron.
I will post more information once I get comfortable and experiment with adjustments.
