Switchable hot wire

Howdy from Texas. Where do you guys get your hot wire for GPS ....radio, whatever?

Thinking of just pig tailing from running lights, they are on/off with switch. Any reason not to?

Depending on the load that you're adding: the running lights might work just fine! :thumbup:

if you use a small 12 volt relay and pick up any switched 12 volt line, then you can run a line right from the battery to the relay and to a fuse block. that way you will have extra fuses and the block will be switched through the relay
