That means those of us who have blow torch radiator vent issues will once again get to ride and completely enjoy it.
Do you think BRP will have or endorse a fix before summer rolls around again?
So far my spyder bloc top vent cover and halving the underside cover plate has worked wonders for any heat issue. And as we all know we've had some doozy heat this summer in the South. My engine temp guage never runs above 5 bars and usually runs at 4. Maybe you can hit the right combination.....:bowdown:smoky
Thanks for your suggestion Smoky. My dealer (a very reputable and long established motorcycle shop since the 1960's) recommends not doing vent blocks, and BRP says not to alter our Spyder if you don't want your warranty called into question. Since my warranty is to protect my purchase and is good Through the middle of 2016. I need BRP's OK before anything can be done.

Even more important when you live in one of the "hot zones".
As much as I love sledding, I've grown tired of shoveling and paying for fuel oil... When my six lucky numbes finally come up; I'm heading somewhere with a longer street-riding season!
I am currently designing a spyder "spit" mod, that lets you roast meat while you ride.
