A recent 4000KM trip had a few 39/40 deg C days, and they seem to have cooked my bypass relay for the trailer supply. It progressively got worse, intermittently losing functionality in odd ways, and eventually some functions ceased to work altogether, so I am looking for a cooler but dry spot other than where BRP have us locate it - under the cover under the seat.

- Inside the topbox - it got warm too - I could have stored a meat pie there and eaten it for lunch, but it was cooler than under the seat.
- At the rear inside of one of the panniers - I use the BRP pannier cases to hold the items I carry, and notice the left side has some free space at the very back. I'd keep the right hand one as it can store a full size helmet.
- Behind the dash somewhere - but the idea of setting forth on such a journey removing tupperware and instrumentation just to get there - nope, don't have the testicular fortitude for that one.
- Glove Compartment - gets warm too, and I've traditionally stored my keys and wallet there while travelling.
- Inside the trailer - would require double the amount of cabling, and I'm not sure how the extra cable length would affect voltages there.
- Somewhere I haven't thought of...
