• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Suks getting old

I recall a very wise moderator on this very forum stated one time, and I paraphrase,, "pain is just weakness leaving the body". See you at Spyderfest! ;););)

Find yourself a Palmer graduate chiropractor. I had similar issues in years past. Muscle would lock up from the spine to the midsection of the front of my body. It happened one time when I was just leaning over the sink to brush my teeth. Seems like I didn't need to do anything in particular...it would just happen. The pain is not fun at all, so I can sympathize with you. Found me a Palmer graduate and I have been a chiropractor user ever since. I haven't had an occurrence in over 20 years.

Lamont, sorry to hear. Actually cold would be better, but if you must do heat do it after the cold 20 minutes of could will reduce inflammation. Heat actually brings blood to the area. For all of mt back problems I have been told ice, ice, ice. Does not seem to make sense, but it works for me

Hang in there, you have to be at Sptderfest, we have a lt planned for you. Keep us psted

:lecturef_smilie: OK Lamont, it's into the second day..............how are you feeling:dontknow:??? You know that one of the "main attractions" at Spyderfest has to show up  See you soon!

Get well soon from all those across the pond

At least you know by the amount of well wishes being posted by SpyderLovers everywhere, just how important you are to all of us

I hope some of the members will be able to post Vidoes of the Spyderfest 2012 gathering - Being so far away its proved to be a great
source of infomaton and helps me connect with all my friends and fellow Spyder riders in your backyard

Yesterday went on You tube to view Daytonia 2012 main street parade - Spotted a couple of Spyders - If you get bored (Unlikely) it will at
least give you something to do - Though knowing you if you can't ride or modifiy you Spyders at the momement - I bet your working on some
foreward Planning (I think they call it that), so your ready when your health returns

Best wishes - Speedy recovery (Health not Spyders)

It's way better than it was but still tender. I'm taking it slow and not moving real fast. Thanks for the well wishes.

Pain

Lamont, sorry to hear your under the weather. If your stomach can tolerate it use 3-325mg aspirin with each meal, alternate with 1000mg of Tylenol in between meals and use heat or ice which ever makes it feel better. If you have an acupuncture provider in the area go see them for help with symptoms. As with all things if your not doing better in a few days or your symptoms worsen get help immediately.

Hope you're feeling better sooner rather than later:yes::pray:
A word of caution..Don't take more than 4000mg of Tylenol/day. Otherwise it will cause Liver problems. Hope you get better soon.

Dang-- sure hope you can get this healed up. It's amazing the simple movements that can mess up your body... at ANY age. Twisting while lifting is a huge no-no and had gotten me in trouble many times with my lower back and neck.

Chiropractors can help some.. and I love going.. but if it's muscular then I'm not sure how much they can help....:dontknow:

The alternating heat and cold thing works well. Moist heat is good too. Damp towel in microwave for 15 seconds, etc.....

Also prefer Ibuprofen to Tylenol...

Good luck !

If something don't hurt I start to worry...LOL

YEP!!! I've been nursing a torn meniscus. Can't afford to be out of work for 4 weeks for surgery, so I just deal with it. Lamont, I feel your pain Bro, did something similar when I was active duty. Took me out of commission for three weeks. What happened to growing old gracefully????
