Spent 17 years in the Navy in Charleston, SC except for two years on the Sub Tender in Holy Loch, Scotland (1978-1980). Made Patrols on the USS Simon Bolivar (SSBN 641) out of Rota , Spain , Charleston, SC and Kings Bay, GA. Did two tour as a Navigation Instructor at FBMSTC, Charleston, SC. You must have been on the USS Holland. I was on the USS Hunley from '67-'69.
I made 7 On the Wilson in 83 and transferred back to fast attacks. I'm out of Moncks Corner. You do much riding around here?Did 13 years in the submarine force,13 patrols all told in USS Woodrow Wilson(qual boat) Brought the USS Lewis and Clark out of the yards in 86 and USS Mariano G. Vallejo. The winning of the cold war ended my career so to speak, but I'd do it again tomorrow.
