• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Storage question - anyone know where I can park a Ford Excursion & trailer for a while in/near Cheyenne, WY?

We plan on trailering to Cheyenne, WY; then doing a 1500 mile Rockies loop. Does anyone by chance know of a place where I can park 40 ft of Ford Excursion plus trailer for a week?

Thanks in advance!

Use hotels.com to find hotels in Cheyenne, WY. Find a hotel you like and then look at them on Google maps to see how big their parking lot is.

When you find one with a decent sized parking lot, call the hotel and tell them what you're doing, and ask if they would allow you to leave the truck and trailer for a week if you stay with them on the first night (and maybe the last night before heading home)?

Wyoming, I don't know about, but Florida is full of RV parks where the large gooseneck towed and the motorised RVs are parked, and connected to power and water, sometimes sewer connections too, or if not a dumping station on the loop around the parking areas. Many of the parks also provide an area without hookups were the RV can be left parked very close together in rows and left there for a greatly reduced parking fee. Instead of traveling in the large and not so fuel efficient RVs, the people who come down for the winters travel in a smaller economy car or just the tow vehicle, and when they get back to the RV park move their large RVs back to the parking areas with full hookups. You might inquire if there are the same parking provisions at any RV parks near where you are heading. It probably requires advanced reservations if you want to be sure a spot is available.
