• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bought a 2011 RTS SM5 in late february. First week of April my wife went to take her motorcycle endosrment about 1800 mile on Spyder. Getting on an off the bike she thinks she left the key on witch we think might off ran down the battery an the Spyder wouldn't start. Everything would come on like normal, it would try to start but the screen went white an then recycle itself back to the starting point each time. We jump started it an it fired up. I road it for awhile. Seem like everything was ok. We took a weekend trip with no problems. We have almost 3000 mile on Spyder now an then yesturday made three stops an the last stop same thing. Had to jump start, an now its the only way we can start it. I check battery connection are good. the one at fuse box is good. Any ideal would be most apprecited.

 Discharging the battery to too low of a level can damage it... You might want to see if you can get it somewhere so that a shop can test it for you.
Good Luck and let us know what you find!

you need a bat.maintainer on all the time you are not riding it.get one at wallmart for around 20 doallers, save you a lot of head akes.these bikes seem to need full charged batters or all kind of bad things happen.i hope you didnt kill your battery from leaving the key on .hope this helps.:chat:

There were some defective batteries from the factory, You still might be in warranty, Either way get a new battery,
Just an after thought some batteries were going dead because of a bad radio [high draw] in warranty also.
