• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Starting new maint cycle

I had my 3000 mile oil change at Spyderfest and now have 4700 miles. My question is should I start the new maint cycle and get my oil changed now or wait until 9300 miles (current 4700 plus new 4600 mile). I would get changed at 9200 which would be the normal cycle. I feel I should take it in soon and get the oil changed. What say all. Thanks.

If you don't have the new trans cover(you probably don't) you should probably stick by the book, 3k if thats your comfort zone. Once you have the new cover installed, the 4600 mi interval takes effect.

I agree, until you have the new, reinforced filters and the larger trans filter and cover, you need to stick with 3K intervals. That puts or next oil change at 6,000. At that point, you can change if you get the new parts and you wish to lengthen the interval. Of course if that is confusing, you could change out now, and not have out of register intervals for easier tracking.

Old style filters = 3,000 mile oil changes
New style filters = 4,600 mile oil changes
