• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in the Hills

:yes::shocked: Made it. Found my room in the construction about 11:30. (442m)Garmin gps slightly off over here:lecturef_smilie::gaah: but found Coyote powersports & the pavilion vendor area, got plotted & saved with pin location rather than address. :p Now can I get enough rest ??:helpsmilie:

Great weather so far and met some great people ...!

After the first day we met some great folks and had a great ryde through some great roads. Got a great sounding exhaust pipe installed too..! Looking forward to day 2.

"Feeling Sick" cough, cough, sniffle :barf:.. or at least that's what I told my boss. Just kidding, decided to use a vacation day and ride up from San Antonio for some FUN. :riding:

This event has expanded and become a must-do for me. There are more and more vendors over previous years. The venue with the covered pavilion and food trucks is ideal. Coyote was a good host before but they just don't have the room to handle all that's going on now. The registration process was seamless. There are several volunteers (I don't know how many) and they're all very helpful.

And the rydes! Many more rydes than before. A very helpful book with descriptions and maps. Many of the rydes in it are not guided, so there are lots of options for any ryding style. The Twisted Sisters even has a "fast" guided option. This booklet will be able to be used for years to come.

Overall, I can just say they are all very well organized and putting on a wonderful party. I highly recommend this event for anyone who wants to meet some good people, do some fun rydes and have some good food.

I agree with everything Patti stated - excellent..!

we are here on our second day and the ryding is just awesome..! The people that lead the rides are very experienced and the rides are on some of the best roads I have ever been on in Texas ..! Looking forward to day three ..!

Huge success...!!

All of the folks that worked hard to put this rally together- huge applause..! 👀 my forward to next year ..!
Thank you ..!!

Yes, it was a great rally. Got SpyderPops to install a RT bumpskid, got a laser alignment from Squared Away, and last week got Rocky, from Coyote Power Sports, to install the Baja Ron sway bar. I'm happy, and ready to ride.

This was my first Spyder Rally and not my last

My experience as a first timer.

1) Very well put together
2) Very easy to get to
3) Ride leaders were experienced and very nice (Darryl and Kat)
4) I needed to take more money
5) Thanks, Lloyd, Carl, and Chuck plus their wives x 3 for taking me under their wings and letting me ride/hang with you guys
6) Thanks Karen for being a good sport on those twisties and I'm glad I hung back with you because I probably would have hurt myself on the Twisted Sisters and you would have ended up in Mexico!!!
7) Where is the registration for next year??
8) Maybe by next year I'll have a riding partner so she can enjoy the festivities like I did
9) Definitely stay at the host hotel, that is where all the action is
10) Stay hydrated

That is about all that I can think of for now. Going to download the GoPro and see what kinda of videos and pictures I have. For the out of state riders, be safe in your travels back home and see you guys at the next one!!!!!

Thank You...

... to EVERYONE (individuals, businesses/vendors, etc) whom provided their time, talents, and resources to sponsor, host, plan, coordinate, support, and execute this event!!!

For those that traveled, have a safe trip home.

AWESOME RALLY - CAN"T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!

The whole rally was wonderful - everyone went above and beyond on support and helpfulness. I had a first timer there and we chose the Utopia Ryde - Bill and Carol Hart, the leaders couldn't have been more kind. It was also one of the most relaxing rydes I have ever been on. Our group was small and all were so very kind.

The vendors were great, some neat ideas and offerings, more farkles. Also, had great prices, not too high which was nice to see.

We didn't make the BBQ but gave our plates to late arrivals.
GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!

We can't wait for next year!!

+1 on all the kudos for the Hill Country rally. It is going to be a permanent item on my annual rally schedule.

I'm at Wichita Falls tonight and will get home tomorrow.

Great is the least I can say............

Martha and I met some new people and saw some folks from last year. The "parade" was IMPRESSIVE. I estimated several million dollars worth of Spyders on one street at the same time. Mind boggling. I got to demo ride a spanking new F3 limited. At Coyote Power Sports. It was really nice. I had to keep telling myself a paid for Spyder is an economic Spyder. So my 2014 RT economic Spyder, Orange Julius and I will keep on Ryding. At least for a while. I can hardly wait for next year. :2excited:

:p Made it back home safely & with minor dampness , had great time met great people :2thumbs: & fair miles
IMG_7044.jpg That's the round trip total:doorag: great event 10X more that I was squeezed in all last minute & things still worked out. BIG THANKS to everyone that helped make this event happen.
(lil mist rain when headed out this morning, know some had storms:shocked: hope everyone makes it to destination safe ).
