• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in the Hills

Hills Rally

Kathy and I are newbies to Spyders with a 16 RTL but just registered for the Hills rally and looking forward to ryding with and meeting other local ryders south of the DFW area.

Don Jones and partner will be there from Corpus Christi.....with our red '16 rtl named "Mickey on Crack."
 
Wondering if Lone Star Rally will happen now ..?

Rally update Sept. 7th

Texas Spyders in the Hills Rally*** FYI----175 have registered. We were planning for 200. Registration closes Oct.1st, unless we have to close registration sooner. Several have hotel reservations but have not yet registered for the rally. Also, ordering of rally t-shirts ends Oct. !st. We would like for all ryders to wear either a rally t-shirt or a patriotic t-shirt in our police escorted Patriotic Ryde honoring our Road Warriors. See our webpage for current rally information. Update 9/18-- We have 221 registered. 153 Spyders and 8 bikes. 12 more days to register and order your t-shirts. This is looks to be a very fun Spyder party!!
 
Spyders In the Hills

I just registered my wife, Liz, since I found a secret lodging facility in Boerne. Last week, while looking for lodging, I found Boerne to be heavily-favored for weddings.

I will be leaving from Baton Rouge on Tuesday evening. Hopefully to make it to Beaumont the first night then on to the Rally by Wednesday evening. Taking the back-roads there.

A nice ride is for you to take Hwy 46 west off IH10 at Seguin, TX and head on over to Boerne. You beat the San Antonio traffic and see some nice back country. When you get to Main Street in Boerne, turn right and go up a mile to Johns Road, turn left for a mile and you run into the rally at the corner of Johns Rd. and IH10W. See ya.

We’re heading out this Wednesday..!

Looking forward to this one ..! Been to a bunch of “motorcycle” rally’s but never “Spyder” rally..! Looking forward to meeting other Spyder people from Texas ..! Also looking forward to riding in the beautiful hill country too ..! Glad to hear so many vendors will e there as well .!

The weather report we get in Corpus Christi say it may be a rain out in that area this weekend.......no rain gear here.......we maybe cancelling our Best Western reservations.....let me know if interested in the rooms.....:spyder2:
