I carry . . . but would not shoot someone over my Spyder . . . stuff (and as much as I love my Spyder, it is just "stuff") can be replaced.
My carry gun doesn't come out of my holster unless I am in fear for my life, or for someone else's life. If I do draw it, it is because that level of concern has been met, and I am shooting to end the perceived threat, not warning or trying to detain for the police.
As for what someone was doing at a carwash, late at night . . . there are lots of possibilities . . . my son, for example, works from 3PM to 11PM . . . if he is washing his car, it is after work, late at night . . . not on his way to work. Last week, when I was in Ohio for their Spyder Rally, we ran over lots of "road apples" deposited there for our enjoyment by all the Amish carts in the region . . . had there been a car wash near the hotel where we stayed, and it hadn't been so cold, I'd have, very likely, been there each evening, cleaning the area around the front end, because there was horse :cus: everywhere!
