• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Sightings

Two separate sightings -Austin TX

Austin TX... April 27th. Morning and lunch time.

Saw a red one with a corbin smugglers trunk on capital hwy up on the NW side of town near the aboretum.

Later around lunch time, saw a fairly stock silver with sport rack and back rest up near rudy's BBQ.

Monday, may 2nd... Blue RT on Sardis road in Charlotte. Saw you parked at the Planet Fitness Gym on my way back through.

I saw a Silver RT on 95 north HOV at around 6:00am. This is the first time I saw one while riding. I was on the rss on the non HOV north bound.

Silver RT

Saw what I thought was a silver RT turning off Old Moncks Corner road in Goose Creek about 3pm yesterday.

I had my first Spyder sighting (a red RS) heading south on Rt 9 in Bayville, NJ. I waved to him all excited like a little kid. Then I felt kinda stupid for getting so excited. I guess I'll be seeing more as the weather gets nicer.

On Sunday on our way home from Spyderfest on I72 somewhere in IL we saw a 2 wheel, a RT and a RS riding together heading west around 2:00 ish. Earlier in Hannibal we saw a man on a blue RT

Saw a Purpe Rs on the back road from Temucula to Palm Springs heading East on Friday.

Saw a red RS and talked the riders who were from the LA area on their way back from the Laughlin Ron. Met them last Thur. After in Amboy, Calif.

Also talked with a couple today here in Irvine riding their brand new RTS Limited.

First weekend I had mine, we took it out for a two-up ryde (our first two-up) to go to a nearby small town, about 30 miles away, and have lunch.

When I say small town, I mean SMALL, as in ~1000 residents. As we approached the restaurant, we both started laughing. We'd been talking the day before about how we NEVER saw any other Spyders on the road. Well, TWO of them were parked in front of this tiny restaurant in this tiny town! A red and a yellow RS-S. We chatted for awhile with the owners, a husband and wife, as they were leaving. I'm horrible with names, so I had forgotten their names by the time we left. I'm pretty sure they're not on here - I mentioned something about internet forums and they said they didn't have internet at their place (and they're retired), but it sure was fun to see them.

I've only seen one out on the road since - another yellow one, and it might have been the same one.

Florida

On A1A just north of St. Augustine, or just south of Ponte Verde saw an RS of unknown vintage, Grey of silver in color, 2 up with no gear:lecturef_smilie: northbound. Later that same trip, northbound I-95 just south of Jacksonville, saw a Huge Orbital Blue Spyder photo plastered on the back of what has to be the classiest rig on the road. Must be the Can-Am promotional truck or something. So, waving like a couple of maniacs, we got a double flash of the running lights. All this on a 600 mile, " Hey, let's head south." trip.

A Silver RT near Davison MI

My husband and I were in the van (had to buy some shelving units) and we saw a silver RT turning south on Irish Rd off of east bound Atherton Rd. Hope they are members or soon to be members

Yellow RS

Saw a yellow RS following two bikes on 106 between Edgerton and Fort Atkinson, WI. The lady had a grin from ear to ear as only seen on Spyder riders. :2thumbs:

What see saw was my red GS a white RS and a white RT. Great day for a 3 hour ride.

Red Spyder
