• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Sightings

Sighting

Have you seen someone unfamiliar riding a Spyder ? Maybe you were out riding, or you saw one drive by while you were standing on a corner ? Describe the Spyder and where it was. Who knows, maybe you'll make a new friend. I'll start:

Grassy Hill Road in Orange CT at the corner of Ridge Road about 6:30 on 3/21/2010. A silver Spyder traveling westbound, like he was heading to the Merrit Parkway. I was in my car, so I'm sure I went unnoticed.

Today around 6pm, two yellow Seders traveling South on Rt 4, (Germantown) Dayton oh. One was def a RT and the other may have been a RS.

clarksville indiana { champagne spyder }

I was at the lowes lumber store around 1 p.m. near the out door area , spied a champagne spyder with 2 up slowly driving too the main entrance .... wonder who they were ? { the date was 6 /3 Saturday }

Unusual Can Am Sighting

Sighted - A storage area full of 100's of Can Am products (shipping cases) out in the middle of the boonies on interstate 10 while headed to El Paso, Tx. Didn't have time to stop and take a pic. Anyone have any idea on why these would just be setting out in the middle of no where? I'm guessing a storage loading exchange area for trucking either Int 10 or 20. Stored like a dealer would have in fenced in area behind a dealership. The one building next to the fenced in area was trashed out with all the windows knocked out of it. Just Curious!!

Did spot 1 black RT headed east on Interstate 20 just before Pecos that same day.:yes:

Saw one headed south on Iowa Highway 86, south of Lakefield, MN. Was with a group of Harley's.

Got several fist pumps....

I saw several Spyders this week on my trip through Iowa. I met a lady at the courthouse in Muscatine, Ia from Minnesota. I had fed her meter by mistake. She saw my trike and we got to talking. It is just good to see people out riding no matter what they ride. Just enjoy riding.

Spotted a black F-3 yesterday with matching trailer heading east on I-70 in Ohio out near Cambridge. Also spotted a white F-3L here in Westover WV yesterday.

As I was driving into DC at about quarter to 5 today I saw a cognac RT in the Pentagon parking lot. Unfortunately I had a train to catch and was on the wrong side of the fence (the rider was there gearing up) so I couldn't stop to chat.

This was well over a year ago and I've been through that area many times since then on my way back to Union Station in DC (last time just this past Wednesday.) That RT is always there. Obviously someone that works at the Pentagon. Also obviously not someone here.

Thank you for your service, whoever you are.
