• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Sightings

I tried this idea in another club with little success. Actually, it was probably the three digits that threw them off. :shemademe_smilie: :D Anyway, if you pass another Spyder traveling down the road and don't get the chance to speak with them, flash them the "Elvis has left the building" sign!
If you get one in return you'll know they belong to the Spyderlovers forum. ;)

Pat

That's actually the ASL sign for the number "3" which is what I use all the time when I wave to other bikes. It signifies "three" wheels. Being married to a deaf person makes me appreciate ASL :dg2:.

So if you get that sign thrown at you by another Spyder rider, you'll know it's either someone who read Pat's post, or someone who knows ASL :lecturef_smilie:

Was helping my best friend add an accessory to my Spyder RT and saw a White Spyder RT drive by my house in Farmington MN. I said hey and pointed at them then waved. It made my night.

I rode to Bandera Texas yesterday morning to have breakfast at the Old Spanish Trail restaurant. Parked out front of the restaurant was a red pearl RT-S, the owner was standing next to the bike with what appeared to be a few friends. After exchanging a couple of waves, I rounded the block to find a parking spot for my pearl white RT-L. When I returned to the front of the restaurant (on foot) I noticed the bike was still there but the group of people was gone. A few of hours later, while riding back to San Antonio, I met a couple resting at a gas station outside of Boerne, Texas along Hwy 46. If memory serves me correctly they were on a blue RT-L. I spoke to them for a few minutes before they continued their trek to Canyon Lake for lunch, It was a Good Day!!! :riding:

Maryland sighting - Rt100 going towards Rt 29.

Saw my first other Spyder in a long time today - near Rt29 on Rt100 heading west - I was on Rt100 going east - we glanced at each other between middle divider scrubs - around 9:30AM

Wadsworth, Ohio

Yesterday, we passed a line of riders yesterday around noon in Wadsworth, OH. Their group included trikes, two-wheelers, and two Spyders! One was brown and not sure about the other. We were on the white RTs coming into downtown Wadsworth on Rt 94 and this group was going out of town. It was great to see Spyders in a group on a perfect day in Ohio for a ride and thank you for waving!

My husband and I had to pick up his African Twin from Pete's Cycles in Belair, MD on Saturday morning. As we were leaving, a black RS/ST (?) was pulling in. The Spyder had a silver spider on the frunk.

Yesterday afternoon (approx 6pm) we were pulling out of our driveway in Mountville and a black Spyder F3 came by. We were trying out his new Africa Twin with the fully automatic transmission (sweet btw) and followed this Spyder on Prospect Road towards I-283.

Anyone claim these rydes?

First sighting in VA

I saw my first Spyder today (6/18), a cognac RT (I think; it was following a motorcycle, and I didn't see it in time to react or get a good look:opps:) traveling on Rte. 20 in VA heading from Orange toward Rte. 3. I was on my red RTS. I know there are Spyders in the vicinity, but this is the first I've seen since getting mine.

Finally seen a few Spyder Riders today.

1: On Hwy 50 heading west bound a brown Spyder in Kenosha WI.
2:Heading north on 41 another brown Spyder in Northern Illinois
