• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Sightings

Labor Day, West Bound on I-70 Near New Market, MD

Sept 1st, I-70 west bound around 9:45 AM, near New Market, MD, riding 2 up . . . a dark color RT. I was on my white RT heading east to meet eleven other Spyders for a Labor Day Ryde
 
Today while heading south on A1A at Pineda north of Melbourne I saw a ryder one up on a silver RT heading south. No helmet but I still didn't recognize him.
 
Passed a black :spyder2: today on 'F' highway between 160 and 65 near Bull Creek in the Branson, MO area. Time was about 3 pm. If you see this and would like to get together for a ryde, PM me.
 
Was heading north on U.S. 1 in Melbourne coming home from the hospital when I saw my friend Jim heading south on his white RT LTD. Kinda surprised me because he wasn't wearing a helmet.

on that note. somebody also stole my helmet there.. jerks :mad:...
 
Two in a couple of days!

In addition to seeing Cruzr Joe's RT on Wednesday, I saw a blue RT on the third floor parking deck at UAMS.
 
Relatively speaking it was not an expensive helmet. $150. But times are a bit tight for me nowadays. And that really hurts. Here I am penny pinching for a Bluetooth headset. Looking at used options etc. and some jerk just decides to take my helmet. I always feel uncomfortable when I just leave my helmet. But my friend left his helmet that was twice the price on his MV agustas. so I felt a bit dumb being anal about my helmet.

Today in Richmond, In and on 25A south of Tipp City, OH

Saw a blue RT 2 up west bound on US 40 in Richmond early this afternoon, then saw another one or maybe the same Northbound on 25A south of Tipp.

Saw a white RT pulling out of Sunoco in lancaster/logan Ohio on sunday. Was stopped on my Neutron Green RSS to get fuel on the opposite side of the building, saw them pull out, don't think they saw me.
 
Blue RT in DC

Just saw a blue RT at Constitution and 21st. In DC. Waiting for the 2million bike run to pass. I hear there are spyders in the pack!! :2thumbs: I can't wait!!!
 
This morning while on 192 west in West Melbourne, getting ready to get on I-95 northbound, I saw a black RT with a couple two-up (rider with no helmet, passenger with half helmet) heading east on 192, though it looked like they were thinking of turning off at one of the gas stations.

Where are they?

I just completed a 4500+ mile cage-trip over 4 weeks and 2 days, and saw only THREE Spyders. Two of them were new, on the dealer's show-lot near Cuba/Rolla MO area as I passed by on I-44.

The other one was a 2010 blue RT SE5 outside a restaurant/bar near Pittsfield PA, that was recently purchased by a middle-age couple, and I chatted with him extensively. I told him about us here, he wrote down the address, and perhaps we'll see him here one day! :2thumbs:
 
Blue RT Outside of Martinsburg WV

About 6 PM tonight (9/13/13), I saw a blue RT riding 2 up, headed south west, out of Martinsburg, on Rt 9, Charles Town Road . . .
