What's up with your F-3?I'd be the first one there, but my f3 will be in the shop over the weekend, and then some. Good luck !
I'm as local as local can be. If you would like, I will take you riding, say starting at 10am at the tire shop, (Netzley Tire) route it past Denman's, have lunch in Phonecia and then we will go from there for supper back at the Hillside. Never ate there, but I understand it is excellent, been wanting to try it.
I just met Derrick yesterday. He seems like a super-nice guy, and he's installing a new General Altimax as I type. Not knowing him any better than I do, though,
I'm wondering if rather than convene a Spyder happening in his driveway, if it might not be more accessible to meet on Highway 209 at the Saunderskill Farms Bakery. (5100 Rt. 209, Accord, NY 12404) Stopped by there yesterday for good coffee and yummies from the bakery.
Folk riding in from Long Island and other remote locations could come around that 10:00 am time you suggest, grab a coffee, use the restrooms, sit at the outside tables and chat. When the group feels it has "assembled" all it's going to assemble, mount up and head for a real lunch in Phonecia and bother Denman at his home and finally end up at Hillside for a fine meal.
I like it it. Who's in?

Pete,
If you guys are looking for a really good meal while there, check out the Friends & Family II Hillside Restaurant in Accord. It's "fine dining" in a rustic setting. I had a great meal there. But there are also all sorts of less expensive local eating places all along Route 209 (on that stretch of the road between Kerhonkson and Interstate 81) with very good food.
Rob:
Sounds like a great place to wind things up.
The plan as it stands is to meet at the Saunderskill Farms market at 10 am tomorrow. Ride to Phonecia for a light lunch, having stopped by Bob Denman's on the way up; then return via whatever roads we decide upon, meeting foe fine dining at the Hillside at 5pm.
Please respond to this thread or text me your intentions at 404-414-6474 so we can reserve a sufficiently large table.
