• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just to let everyone know I am creating a video series for the breakdown and maintainence of the GS/RS in the DIY section of SpyderLovers. These videos are unlisted and can only be viewed at Spyderlover.com and is my gift to you for helping me so much with my questions about my Spyder and putting up with my antics. Some of these maintainence items I have never done, so let me know if I'm doing it wrong via PM or this thread.

I will be adding a bunch of videos through the winter explaining all sorts of things as a owner you would want to know how to do to save $$$$$$$$$. These Videos will show even the newest of Spyderlovers how to DIY.

:agree: Wonderful videos! When does the commemorative DVD boxed set come out??

Seriously, awesome job! Thanks!

:2thumbs: :firstplace::firstplace::firstplace:
So when will the boxed set for us RT owners come out???  :roflblack:

Can I get these in a 3D - Blue-Ray version?....

As soon as you send me the plug wires I can do the spark plug and wire change videos. Is there a discount on my products if I say BajaRons products are the best several times in my video series ???

It's like when I was a kid, if Michael Jordan said wear Hanes underwear...... I wore Hanes underwear. Almost the same thing don't ya think ???

Ps....... I will be placing my order soon Ron. My name is Arntufun, and I only use BajaRons products......that one is free.

Thank you for the video's

I consider myself, mechanically inclined, just never with a bike ( building maintenance in the past, now I bang a keyboard ). These videos break it down in such a way that makes the job more comfortable to do and gets me familar with the parts involved. Great videos and explanations of tasks at hand

Looking forward to more this winter ...:popcorn::popcorn:

Now I need to get a service manual for my 2011 RS.... are they out yet? :dontknow:

I added more videos today. Spark plugs and wires, exhaust gaskets, and oil change videos .

Very helpful videos! I know it's a lot more work than it appears to be. I hope this gives more owners the encouragement needed to do their own work.

It is so satisfying to do things yourself, not to mention you can save a lot of money and you also get a much better understanding of your ride. Knowing more about your Spyder is always a good thing.

Thanks for all the plugs (no pun intended). But whether you get your stuff from me or somewhere else, I highly recommend doing it yourself whenever possible. If it's your first attempt, always leave plenty of time. Don't do like Lamont and tear it down to the frame 2 days before a long road trip. :yikes:

And if you run into a snag, there is always a lot of help here on the forum.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to All!

I added more videos today........ Front and rear brake pads. :D

I kept my word and this concludes my video series obligations and hope these will help you out in the maintainance of your Spyder. As soon as I can afford to buy a grease gun, I will make a video on that. But, I'm over budget already and Holly said no more money for Spyder for awhile. Good luck to all of you.:thumbup:

If anyone wants to make videos of other things on the RS/GS just email the video to me or if you can load it to my thread yourself. :2thumbs:

Wow! Those pads came in quick! So much for them being out of stock. Now you need to do a rotor install, save me the trouble!

Follow my videos for the front caliper removal and the rotor will slide right off. You already knew that didn't you ? :roflblack: All my parts came in yesterday (8 total days).
