There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know of a Foot-Shift Pedal Extension for 2013 RS SM5? Any advice?

I recently bought a 2013 Spyder RS SM5. First, I know these models' parts are hard to come by when they are not OEM. Shortly after getting used to it from a standard softail motorcycle, I realized it felt like I was riding a street bike. This was causing pain in my neck and upper back. I have long legs, and I felt extremely cramped up. So, I upgraded a few things on the Spyder.

  • Exchanged handlebars from RS to ST model.
  • Added Rivco footboards.
  • Installed brake extender.
  • AM comfortable seat.

It has me sitting in a more upright seating position.

My question is, I have looked everywhere for an extension for the foot shifter, but I can't find anything anywhere. Does anyone know of any company that sells an extender or even a heel toe shifter to move the shifter forward about 2 or 3 inches?

I was even thinking of having one fabricated but wanted to see if there is one, I could purchase. I have not found anything after weeks of searching, just ones that were sold long ago.
Becoming a pain to keep having to kick my foot back to shift.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have heard of brake pedal extenders, but not shift lever or heel/toe shifters for the Spyder RS models.

Fabrication may be the way you have to go on this one. Others will chime in.

Spyderextras.com has a shift pedal extension designed for F3s.
I have no idea if it would fit an RS, but it can't hurt to contact them.

Their part number is: SF3-SHEXT
