• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sprder RTS and RPMS reading off when riding

clueless

New member
was on a short 200 mile round trip ride today...

on way home after stopping for gas and after a few hr stop... when riding back ... I noticed that the RPMs were reading way higher then normal and when I pulled in clutch they only dropped to 4k RPM :yikes: when riding down the road. The RPMs seems like they were slewed 4k from normal higher.

when I stopped again to gas up and started it everything went back to normal and RPMs reading back lower...

just wondering if it was fluke thing or a sign of things to come

I had the same thing happen to my 2011 RTS. I took it to the dealer and when they put it on the computer it spit out that the throttle body was bad and that the computer program needed updated. Mine is still under factory warranty so it didn't cost me anything.
