• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sound system issue

This has been going on for quite a while and will try to explain what is happening. When moving and only when moving and especially with throttle being moved I get a thunking noise through the sound system that cuts out the radio, cb, and intercom sound. It will thunk every second or so and the radio sometimes will go in and out for a few seconds. It comes and goes when I am moving but now is doing it about 75% of the time I am moving. It definitely seems related to the throttle activation as that is when it happens. I have turned off every switch possible while moving trying to narrow the issue down as it has become really aggravating as I like music while driving and have found nothing. Has anyone had this issue as I am finally taking it a dealer in the next week or two and trying to help narrow it down. Of course when I take it to the dealer it will probably work!! Just as some help I have disconnected the head set, same problem through the speakers, disconnected the iPod, still no change.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Sorry I have not heard of anyone else having a similar problem as you describe. My best guess is a bad connection somewhere going to the radio. Let us know what the dealer finds out.

I don't have that problem. the only problem I have at this point is I just went to the spyderfest in Springfield which was my first real trip on my spyder which I just got last Sept. I have preset radio stations on the stereo but I was away from the preset areas of the station. my question is how do you get the stereo to scan and stop at the next station like stereo's in your cars.

Short press on the right or left button goes up or down the presets. A long press of the right or left buttons scans up or down.
Here is a scan of the command center guide if you don't have it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9zqe1BG3lbqa1RSaTg2MUpxREk/view?usp=sharing

Thanks, I knew there would be someone out there that would know how to do it. As I said I went to the spyderfest in Springfield, it was our first one and I have to say I was impressed. I only went for one day just to see what it was like. I will more than likely be going to more. And I would also like to say that I am also impressed with the spyderlovers.com web site. I am not much in using web sites like this but I will try and use it often now and answer anything that I might know the answers to. It might take awhile though.
