It's been an epic month of Winter weather here in Wisconsin. As I post this on 3-3-2019 the local temperature will be -9/9 Below Zero tomorrow morning just south of Green Bay. Needless to say it's gonna be awhile before my Spyder comes out to play. In the meantime, I'm spending quite a bit of free time on the snowmobile. It's one of my past times during the winter months and I actually welcome the snow and cold. I've always felt that if I am to live in this kind of climate, I'm going to make the most of it. The gear and equipment we wear is second to none for protection from the cold. So getting cold is really not a problem. Another of my hobbies includes producing video from various activities and in this case I captured some seat time on our local trails here in the Badger state. I have a GoPro attached to my helmet and I use an editing program on our desktop for producing.
The machine is made by the same company that builds our Spyders, BRP. It features the 900 ACE engine that they're putting in the Rykers. In this application the engine is very quiet, smooth, and offering a ton of torque at low rpms. So, for those sitting at the Tiki Bar with your toes in the sand, here's how we roll in the friendly (but cold) state of Wisconsin.
