• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Skills Test on Can Am Spyder

Take the course to become a safer rider: the break on the cost of insurance is just an added bonus... nojoke
The instructors have seen it all, and will be more than capable of accommodating your Spyder.

I had to take two separate endorsement tests. Originally had my motorcycle safety course in California and when I moved to Washington and became interested in the Spyder I had to go through a safety course to get an endorsement for three wheels as well. In our state the DOL doesn't do the testing at the facility they contract out to companies to do it. My motorcycle endorsement was the hardest the three wheel was easier and they don't do things that don't make since.

Same issue with me.

ya, the only reason I got a 97/100 on my skills test is cause I was going too fast for her to measure the quick stop. lol never got into 2nd gear.

I took the class and test in Seattle and had to explain to them that shifting up and down as they wanted for a few things wasn't going to happen on a spyder. They agreed and just said do the best you can :ohyea::ohyea:

Incidently, at the class they just happen to have a 2014 RTL just like the one I had bought a few weeks before ( and put 800 miles on before I knew I needed a 3 wheel endorsement in WA:shocked: :opps: Same color (Cognac) as ours as well.
I too was docked for the stopping test only.

On mine the tester told me to drive a couple mile route saying she would follow me and end up back at the dmv. When we got back she said yup, your good. Went inside and printed off a new license with the endorsement. Think adding it and the Hazmat to my CDL cost thirty bucks.
