• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SIGNED PAPERS TODAY ON NEW COGNAC 2014 RT LIMITED....My head is still spinning...

Welcome J Terry. Congratulations on your new RT-L. I have the two tone seat (RT-S), but I think different seat color options are only a good thing. More options gives people the ability to make their Spyder a little bit different. As far as brown or black on the cognac? It depends on your goal? The black stands out, whereas the brown blends in. Both look great. Case in point, I got the RT-S because I wanted the whole Spyder to blend in. I still may wrap the silver trim work to completely black it out (haven't decided yet). Either way you go though, it still rides the same :thumbup: Enjoy!

I'm a bit surprised that BRP didn't color co-ordinate the two-tone seating on the RTS models...
Black... and then the second tone, be the bike's body color! :2thumbs:
How about it; BRP??? :dontknow: Next year? :D

Congratulations..!!

I'm an instant gratification person and take whats there now..I have to say that I have always accepted my choice and they have all grown on me. Have not seen this combination but you have a great dealer working to get you what you want. Ryde and enjoy and when the time comes see if your wife feels the same way. Congrats again..!! :ohyea::ohyea:

My wife and I made the 80 mile trip today to Nashville with intent to ink the deal on a new Spyder Roadster...Cognac color which we both agree upon. When we got inside dealership she spotted the beauty with the big BROWN seat on it and she did not like the brown at all. She was so disappointed that you could easily see it in her eyes...I told her that we could wait until dealer got another unit in with the black seat but she really did not want to wait not knowing how long it would be....Our sales professional offered to pull a black seat off another regular RT to solve the objection...but we realized that the Limited stitching was not on the other seatback. We agreed to take this unit and the seat be switched out to black when they got another model in with the black seat. I kind of like the brown color seat with the cognac color body....Has anyone else had a problem with warming up to these new and different seat colors....Our experience today was very good with this dealer and the sales associate......No surprises and it was a fair deal the way he discounted and figured our price....Yet to see what is going to happen with the brown seat......

:congrats::welcome:

:congrats: on the new ryde. Another Cognac hits the road. :yes:

RE: the brown seat--I was also thinking that if I had to make the choice that I would opt for the black over the brown. The brown is different, but being a lighter color, it may show the dirt much quicker. If you end up putting some chemicals on it to polish or preserve, then you also need to watch out for darkening of the color.

I like the seat configuration offered on the RTS models--the two tone black/grey better. JMHO. :thumbup:
