Shifting Clunk

I don't recall the Spyder shifting as clunky as it has in the past before my last repair. The Spyder runs great and even starts in gear (now) but when shifting it clunks. (SM5)

Thoughts?

My (se6) got smoother and quieter after I changed to Amsoil synthetic 10-40 motorcycle oil.
Difference was noticeable.

what was the last repair..?? Should have always started in gear if you apply the brake. Did you change oil type/brand..?? Any change in rpm's..?? Might ask what was done at the shop if it is really bad....:thumbup:

Just a thought

My 2014 RT SE-6 makes more noise when shifting if ( from a stand-still ) if it's not at IDLE ( 900 RPM's ) and cold ( the OIL )........just sayin......Mike :thumbup:

Long story but I had the master - slave cylinder rebuilt.

A few days later it would not start in gear. I found another thread that had an easy fix to that one.

Anyways I made an appointment for a complete 4000 mile service at the dealer I bought the Spyder from.
