My local BRP dealer Pure Speed rang me today to say they have just taken delivery of an F3-s in the colour I want magnesium. Dealer says that BRP wont be able to get anymore in the colour I like till 2016 as 75% of F3s have been ordered in magnesium with red frame.
I am going to visit dealer this week to see F3 and hopefully strike a good deal with my part x which is a 2014 Volkswagen beetle convertible. My beetle is on finance so there will be some negative equity to add on to total cost of F3. If deal is good I will buy on the spot if not I will hang on to beetle to pay more of the finance and get F3 in 2016. F3-S that is in dealer right now could be the one for me I hope and pray

If that is a genuine Beetle convertible (not the modern one) and it's RHD
then there's a cult following for them and they go for good money.
The last ones were made in Mexico....I have a friend with one but he

Been to dealer today to do a finance proposal for F3-S they have in (see attached pics). They have found a Volkswagen dealer that will give me £15500 for my car which is the dealer I bought car from. So there is about £3000 negative equity to go on top of cost of F3. Dealer says pay for my accessories that I want separately rather than add to finance, to increase my chances of getting finance, because finance company may not accept application if F3 is too costly. So now I wait for a decision to see if finance is accepted.
Dealer has taken this F3 to Great Yorkshire Show earlier this week, so I think its had a lot of bums sitting on it do I ask for a discount or am I being silly? If I don't have it they will sell her over night because there's been a lot of interest in it from show

Yesterday at my dealership, two people paid full MSRP for F3S s when the RT s were on sale for $7550 off..... not seeing much discount on F3S

Take the impulse and emotion of desire out of the equation so you can genuinely comprehend what you are about to subject yourself to... an instantaneous €3000 loss. Negative equity of any amount reflects bad financial decision making, yet you're willingness to accept it so freely is scary

My mate and I just bought an F3S each from the dealer in Spain and there was no discount whatsoever.

BUT

We did get a great deal in the way of a substantial service voucher and a couple of helmets thrown in.

Slept on this and have decided to go for a 2016 F3 at same paying more of the beetle and lowering my negative equity. I did take some advice on whether to go ahead with deal and the best advice was my heart saying wait till 2016 where you will have paid of more of the beetle.
In the mean I will get the rest of my gear such as Sena intercom system, mp3, camera for helmet etc.

I would just like to thank you guys for the good advice you gave me .

Done my homework and going for Sena 20s. 10c is great but I would like a camera to film rear footage as well as front so I may have to buy 2 cameras or search for a camera with dual lens.

Unless you plan on wearing your helmet while driving your Beetle (with the top down) I'd wait to buy those items till after you have a Spyder. The technology changes so fast that when/if you ever get a Spyder the now bought items will be outdated.

Good for you for waiting! Negative equity is never good!

Ha Ha, 2016 is just round the corner after next month lol, and the plan is to buy gear between now and 2016 and then I don't have those extra costs to worry about. I would love to wear the helmet that Stig has from Top Gear in the beetle though hyea:
