• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shanwn Smoaks had a stroke.

we have been praying for him and Kelly for a speedy recovery. He has been our friend and mechanic for the last nine years. A great guy who has always went above and beyond to help out.
 
Wow. Prayerfully he has a quick and full recovery. Don't know him, but he seems to be a decent/pleasant person. The Andy Griffith of Spyder techs.
 
I hope he recovers soon and completely. Shawn was a great influence when I was researching purchasing a Spyder, and continues to be a valued resource.
 
I've been following his last two videos. In the one I watched this morning he mentioned he was having trouble doing some things with his right hand. I'm hoping he makes a full recovery. I've been watching his videos for years. He was one of the reasons I settled on my Spyder.

Same here! I started watching Shaun's videos when I wanted to get my Ryker and have been following his videos ever since!! I am hoping he gets better real soon!!
 
He's home now and has to work hard to get strength in the fingers of his right hand.....new video today.
