• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Like all Sena headsets there is only one A2DP slot (Stereo Music). So you have to pick your stereo music device and it has to paired first by holding the phone button for 5 seconds. All other devices after that are paired in HFP mode by holding the jog dial button for 6 seconds.

In your case it would be SM10 1st. Then the phone. The 660 does not have to be paired at all since it should hooked up to the radio and will come through the SM10 even when the radio is muted.

Looks like you pair the phone to the GPS, then the headsets to the GPS then the headsets to the SM10.

Yes you can do that and if you make a lot of phone calls while driving I would recommend it. If you only have your phone paired to answer a call there is no need to. Just pair it with the headset.

Contacting SENA

Just wondering ???? what time of day are you calling them?
The Tech Dept is in San Jose CA and is open from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Pacific time
just call and ask for the tech dept.
The email form takes longer.
Dave

I just hope if you contact them that you have a week to wait for a response.

I like having the phone paired to the gps so I have my entire phone book on gps screen plus caller id there on incoming calls

I pretty much have the same setup except that I have an SM10HR instead of the 20S.

I paired my phone to the Garmin 660
I paired the SM10
I paired the Garmin

I have music coming through the SM10 and my phone works through the Garmin.

OK I have everything paired -- Sena S20 - SM10 transmitter - Motorola smart phone - Garmin 660 GPS... but I find the volume of FM radio & IPod to be very low... browsed thru the settings... and I notice that the volume settings thru headsets can only increased up to 50%... is there any way to increase the volume past the 50% maximum thru the headsets ?

tia

on the Sena 20S each input has it's own volume setting..... select the FM / Ipod and turn the big knob on the side to the right (clockwise) to increase. I find the GPS normally beeds to be turned down and music needs to be turned up. YMMV/
