selling stuff at Spyderfest

I have seen several people selling stuff and willing to bring it to spyderfest. Next year we should plan a specific time and place during spyderfest for everyone to bring the stuff they want to sell or trade. Could be like a mini flea market for farkles. Would that be a conflict or would we be considered vendors?

I always thought this was a great idea but was put down hard when I suggested it 2 yrs ago..
guess some viewed it as competing with sponsors...

That's a shame, it would be a very good opportunity for Spyder owners to "recycle" their unused stuff. Don't see how this would upset anyone.

I think the finer point here is selling :spyder2: parts vs. selling merchandise by non-sponsers. Those selling merchandise should "pay to play" just like the others. I like the idea of a swap or sale meet for used Spyder stuff.

I still see posts for "new" :ani29: related merchandise from time to time--and a lot of them are not official SL sponsers. :sour:

Should make some ground rules to weed out the offenders like anyone selling more than one of the same item. Or limit the number of total items sold.

Maybe BRP should consider allowing a Spyder Owners Flea Market tent at their event in June since they dont allow vendors. This would at least allow owners that have excess parts and accessories to sell them and offer the attendees a chance to pick up some bargains....

all without treading on the toes of the Sponsors.... BRP are u listening ?
