• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seat shock cylinder

I remember seeing a post on here where someone changed out the cylinder under the seat by purchasing one at a local parts store. I have searched but can't seem to locate it. Anyone had to replace the cylinder that holds the seat up on a 2014 RT Limited?

Should be covered call dealer!

Warranty! You should still be covered if it's a 2014.

Well..!!

:agree: unless you have changed to a custom seat that is heavier and the stock shock won't hold it up. Then you can check with your local autoparts for a better or stonger one. Online is a good sourse as well. Specs are usually on the cylinder if not remove it and take it in...

seat strut

read this on forum yesterday and copied #.
StabilusSG359011 - 40 # strut and $27.00
hope this helps

I bought StrongARM #4423. It is stronger and lifts the seat with a turn of the key! Bought it at local auto parts store!

So along this questions line.

Anyone have a replacement recommendation for the rear trunk shock?

Ever since adding the HMT and the BRP trunk lid bag, mine will barely stay up.

strut

Mike Wallace put an additional strut on his - all you need is an extra strut. Mounts are there ready to use!

I stopped by O'Reilly Auto Parts and picked one up. I got my bike back home from getting the tank replaced today, so I will be putting it on my ultimate seat tomorrow. Afterwards, I plan to install the Murth mirrors with the turn arrow built in and replace the headlights with 100W HID Halegon light bulbs. That will pretty much catch me up on my Farkles. For now.
