• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You might want to contact BRP about it anyway; this appears to be an ongoing problem for you... Perhaps they could still do something about it...
Good Luck, and please let us know what happens!

Hi,

Sorry , i forgot to answer my thread.

BRP will not replace my seat. I ask them what they will do to correct the weakness in the future. And what the answer was, still your on warranty they will replace the seat. Wow what a genius solution. I ask them you want us to buy the Spyder for fun of new experience riding without headache or be a customer to buy regulary parts. Has you know the sale of the Spyder it's a part of 40% of the profit for the company , the rest of the profit , it's on parts, riding gear ,accessories. I tell them what thing it's all about. For people who ride in open air it's very important to have quality parts. You don't want to be on the side of the road. It's not like a car who you can sleep overnight waiting for towing.

I hate when they thinkging i'm stupid. They know there a weakness in seat , "We know but it will stay like that." :banghead:

My 2010's seat did the same thing. I was thinking it was the Beadrider I put on there. The dealer wanted $400 for a new seat. I found a new one for $65. In only four after installing the new one, it started separating in the same spot.
I went to a dive shop and got some black neoprene cement used to repair wetsuits. I've dabbed it on the area to slow down the problem. I'm glad I didn't pay $400 and have the new one separate too!

That sure doesn't look like a spot you could damage in that manner when throwing a leg over the saddle... :dontknow:

Seat Tearing

I have a 2011 RT Limited, with 6000 miles - and the tear is in the same spot. Gave up with the dealer and bought a new-take off on ebay.
