• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi All.
this is my second attempt to install the Kewl Metal 3 way risers. I have been on this forum and Spydertalk and I keep hearing that there is plenty of cable but I darn sure haven’t found it yet. If anyone can (Tell me-Show-me) where all this extra cable it I would be very thankful to say the least. I have cut several ties and have not been able to get enough cable or electrical harness to even reach the Kewl Metal riser in the upright position let along pull it back. Must be missing something.:gaah:
Thanks for any help

THROTTLE CABLES

Leo,
I know the feeling. I installed the Helibar and I felt the OEM cables were too tight. I bought new ones from Barnett Performance Products. I had them made 6" longer than the OEM cables and they worked out well.
They were costly at $40.00 each. If you want to buy them you can make reference to the invoice number, 182986, that they gave me. You can email them to [email protected]. This will solve your problem.

This PDF shows (with pix) how to get at some of the hard to reach wire ties. Might help... :dontknow:

:agree: You might have to cut one of the zip ties that hold the wires together. Just follow the wires down, you will have to take the speedo cluster out and possibly some of the tupperware off.

Thats right, the tie that matters is way way down on the right side[Pass] I had to take off the speedo and top Tupperware piece to get to it from above. Here's a tip, when you find it push a screwdriver between the zip tie and wiring and then you can use a xacto knife to cut the tie without cutting into the wiring.
