Thanks for your posts so far. I am learning more each time you post as I wait for my SE5. Ordered because i can't ride a manual you can guess that I've never ridden a bike or test ridden the :spyder:either. But answer me this if you would please. I know it has auto down. But, when upshifting; the rider is totally in control of when to upshift correct? I mean, I know yours are new ( and don't do anything crazy ) but if you wanted to take her up close to redline the bike would not automatically kick you into a higher gear right?? Should I maybe think about a SM5 with a heel-toe shift installed or is it once mastered, you have 98% control over what your bike is doing and not the bike telling you how to ride. I'm no kind of speed demon but if I wanted a truly automatic bike I would have gone with a Ridley or whatever they are.
