• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:dontknow: I think I just heard Roadkill's motor start...

UPDATE:
Okay, for those interested in using the same format I used last year, here's the updated version. Please make a copy of it for yourself before you edit it, thanks!

+My wife just sighed loudly from the other room, as 2011 has come sooner than we anticipated. (Personally, this helps with my 2010 Scavenger Hunt withdrawal DTs...)

Ride on.

Brevet made a Google Doc spreadsheet for the last Scavenger Hunt. It worked great! Thank you Brevet!!

Went to alter it for this years Hunt and can't find the original template now.

"At the risk of seeming presumptuous, and because I was asked, I have shared a blank version of my Google Docs spreadsheet to simplify Irish's task. It's freely available at Google Doc's Template Page. Simply search for 'Spyderlover'. Hope this helps!

Don't necessarily have to ride it but you'd better have it there

  • You OR your Spyder and item must be in the same frame.

+But how will you know if a person presenting a picture of himself next to a sign for Sparrow Bush, NY rode the bike there? The person would be in the same frame as the item, and the bike isn't stated as being required to be in the image.

Ride on.

Hubby and I have been planning a road trip for some time now. Along the way we are going to visit my 80-something Mom. Of course she will want a ryde on Spydee and a picture will be taken for the Scavenger Hunt.

Anybody who stoops to shenanigans is a poor sport.

Its the spirit of the game that counts.
