• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My MPG skyrocketed in ECO Mode - is ECO Mode really that much better?

Page 57 dies not explain where to see the modes on the display.
Well, ummm, yeah...

I had to compare the 2024 F3 and 2024 RT Operator's Guides, as I wasn't sure if the controls were the same.
Then I went out to actually try it on my 2024 Spyder RT S2S.

On the left handgrip, look for the Ride Settings Button.
It looks like this:

With the key on, Press it. This should open a selection window on the far right of the display.
Use the OK/Select button to move up or down to select Normal or ECO mode.
Press the Ride Settings Button again to select your choice, and close the selection window.

On my Spyder when I changed the setting it showed the word "NORMAL" or "ECO" above the fuel gauge.
Here's what "NORMAL" looks like, from Page 46 of the Operators Guide:

I did a video a few years ago about gas mileage - I rode from PA to Florida in one mode and back in another (regular and ECO, as I don't have Sport on my F3L).

The mileage in ECO was not significant enough of an increase for me to ever ride in ECO mode again, lol.
That was on my 2018. I will say that my 2023 gets a few miles per gallon more. I average between 35-37 mpg vs 34 on my 2018.
I watched that video when I first got mine. And then a couple more comparing ECO to regular. All results were about the same, not enough noticeable difference. And the performance to get out of the way was not worth it.

You guys are hilarious squeezing numbers on MPG. I average about 35 miles a gallon on my F3 L. My V-twin Spyders were lucky to get 27 miles a gallon. In other recreational sports, my Sea-Doo, which is another BRP product which was lucky to get 5 to 7 miles per gallon, and my Arctic Cat snowmobile on the best day ever, I only get about 13 miles per gallon. My pick-up truck gets 20 miles per gallon on the best day ever, and my Trans Am sports car gets 17 mpg city and 30 mpg Highway. So I am just over the moon on the mileage I get from my F3 Limited. Good job BRP. Drive gently. It does drive like a lunatic. It’s still pretty good.

For the most part running back and forth to work, say 60 mph 40 miles one way. I average about 32-35 mpg. My V-twin 108 CI Victory was closer to 40 mpg. But it beats 14 in my 2500 PU.

I run in ECO mode, but I never shift when it tells me to. By keeping the RPMs up there is plenty of power and when I open it up I feel by not having WOT there is less stress on the drive train.
