• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Scavenger Hunt 2011

#5 (generations) clarification?

#5 asks for, "A photo with someone from each of the following generations: 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s (25 points each)."

+What do you mean by generations? In their twenties, thirties, etc.? If so, what is meant by "2000s"?

Alternatively, did you mean perhaps "born in the 1920s, 1930s," etc., whereas the "2000s" makes more sense?

+I've got a few more questions. How will you score single images of multiple "generations" (when that's defined)? For example, when someone presents a single photo identifying many people from multiple generations, will that score multiple points (for the identified generations)? Or should we be providing individual shots?

Group shot is fine as long as age groups are identified

Googledoc has fixed something that wasn't broke so I'm having problems getting the pictures to come up in the template. Will keep working on that issue. Please bear with me and Photobucket for a while.

Scavenger Update 121810

+The jerry-rigged fender is holding up okay, but I did need to replace both lower zip ties and the lower right side baling wire after today's ride.

Yesterday's ride to work started at 16*F. I was comfortable in the Tourmaster Centurion, but I brought the winter lining and installed it before the 33*F ride home, after which I was snugly warm.
