I am so so sorry to hear this, Bumblebee, put my male Dobe down last year due to bladder cancer, ripped my heart out, and thought i would lose his sister this year to a bufo toad, things happen, but to purposely do something so despicable just infuriates me like i can't even tell you! My deepest sympathy to your family, i hope you feel better soon.

That's a terrible thing to have happen; I'm truly sorry to hear of this and pray for the recovery of your remaining pet. I'm often amazed at how needlessly cruel we can be to each other.

I hope this wasn't a precursor to a planned home break-in, but I can't think of any other reason for someone to try to harm dogs that are kept in a fenced yard. Please be careful!

I can only echo the words that have been said, already. The loss of a pet is bad enought if due to old age or dease, but to loss one this way is horrible.
I would glad to pay for a ticket, half way over the Atlantic for whoever did this.

Sad day for our family today!
While I was out having lunch with a friend. Someone poisened our dogs, putting Anti-Freeze in their water dish. We have a fenced in yard. One of our dogs did not make it. Our dogs are very friendly and good.
How can people be so cruel? What were they thinking? What have they ever done to you?

:agree: It never ceases to amaze me what cruel things people can do.
Two days ago someone found a Boxer/Pit Bull mix lying in a ditch a few miles from here. Some :cus: had taped the mouth shut, taped all 4 legs together and left her to freeze to death. When she was found, she was actually frozen to the ice. Fortunately she is expected to recover. Authorities are still looking for the :cus: who did it and there are LOTS of people around here that would love to help them with the "justice".

Dogs are GREAT family members...OK...I like cats too, but I'm allergic to them.

I don't know what I'd do if someone hurt my Ruby (Golden Retriever), but I think it would be very hard to restrain myself from vicious violence.

I'm so mad I have to stop typing now since this is a family friendly site!

I lost my dog 3 weeks ago same thing kids killed 9 cats 11 dogs we cought them they going to jaile 2 1/2 yrs each .you well find who did it and then sue them we did two kids 18 thought it was fun sick oh's.

Bumblebee and G-Man, It is a terrible thing to lose a loved one, especially when premeditated. This was probably someone with an axe to grind as it would surely cause you great pain to lose them. I read your e-mail yesterday and it hurt too much to even respond....came back today and still hurts! I know you all are still reeling from the shock and senselessness of such an act as well as grieving the loss of a furry family member. Your Spyder family shares that pain and hopes that the memories of the good life you made for a street dog will help fill the black hole left by your loss. I know finding the person(s) responsible for such a crime won't bring back your beloved pet but hopefully if they can be found, their prosecution would make others think of the consequences of such unspeakable behavior.
