I have an 08 gs with 20k miles and it started running rough today and check engine light flickered and went off, is there normal maintenance I should do to it before I bring to dealer?
plugs?, valve adjustment? What's do at this mileage?
lMy 2010 RT did the same thing last year. I tried injector cleaner and fuel treatment but it ended up being the 2 small hoses from the MAP sensor to the tthrottle body. Couldn't see the cracks until they were pulled off. Replaced both hoses and ran like new.

My 2012 RTS is doing the same thing and is at the dealer. Will this show up on buds?

Did your check engine light come on?

Mine did the same thing last year. After checking it out the two small lines had hair line cracks but I also changed to iridium plugs and the 8.8 mm wires as they were dried n looked cracked. But I'd check the two small lines first. I'm right up the hill on Middletown Rd if you need a hand or not sure were the two hoses are.

Sounds like a plan. I can't ride in like weather today due to health problems. But yeah we'll get together for a ride soon. Good luck with the spyder.thats funny we were heading to her sisters camp just past thatcher park, great ride up that way and nice and cool.
let me look into my issues this week and hopefully an easy fix and we will have to get together for a ride
I looked up on YouTube on how to access the throttle body on an RT. Do you really have to pull off all the front tupperware just to access those two rubber hoses that folks are telling me to check? They are under the left side panel upper area between the cylinder heads. There are two, use silicone 4mm hose cut to the same length to replace them. They last much longer...
