• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Probably a dumb question. I just noticed that on my analog dials the MPH is backlight but the RPM is not. t. Not the whole dial but the text that says MPH and RPM. Is that normal or do i have an LED disconnected or burned out. I only recently noticed so don't know if it is recent from service, or a failure, or if it was always like that. Not a big deal, of course. But I'd have them fix it next time it was in if it is supposed to be lit. Thanks!

I also have a 2013 RT and thought the same. But if you look real close it looks like the RPM symbol is just painted on. It doesn't light up like the miles per hour.

The MPH is a lamp behind the gauge just like the indicator lights. There is also one for kM/h as well. The RPM is stenciled on the face. The dual scale speedo is why its labeled to 200 which makes no sense for MPH but not so ridiculous for kM/h. The 200MPH speedo is much too large of a range and makes the gauge nearly useless in day to day driving because the usable section of the instrument is just too small.

mph is backlitm because you have the option of switching over to the kph side...
play with your mode button and find preferences; it's in there!

Playing with the switch button is fun. You can run that puppy at over 100 and even higher if your brave enough. Especially fun if your passenger likes to keep track of how fast your driving. :roflblack:

I switched mine over when the Missus wasn't looking...
Wow! She started yelling like her hair was on fire when "136" popped up on the screen! :roflblack::roflblack:
(about 83 mph)

The 200 KPH is not too useful either, that's 124 MPH and I doubt anyone travels that fast on these Spyders. Not sure why BRP gave us such a useless range. Very few places in Canada (if any) have a posted speed limit over 100 KPH (62 MPH). Even my Infiniti only goes to 160 KPH (100 MPH).
