• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT mud-flap

Well, yes the mud flap evolution continues. I decided I didn't like the gap between the hitch and flap - so I cut another piece of old mudflap to fit and used the bolt that comes up from the bottom (that holds the flag holder in place) to hold the filler piece in place. I think its not too shabby!

Bob,
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once again I must have had my head up my &%$. Once I reloaded the bike with 320 lbs. and got onboard, the fender did once agai, hit the new piece I installed. So, I removed it and further modified it so as you can see, it now clears!
Thanks again!!
Gotta love this board!

stevedfive,
Is the dimond plate metal and rubber under it..If not can you explain. I like the look, nice and clean and functional. Thanks

It's a one piece rubber mudflap from Pep Boys, "RoadSport Big Mudder". I just cut it in half or so, straight across, and screwed it on. There are 17.5L x 10W, and sold in pairs.

This is a photo of what I put in my earlier post if you didn't follow the link. Generic mudflap from an auto store for a pickup truck. Use all SS fasteners and it's good to go. Simple and it works great. Keep it simple.
