• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now that the nice weather is here, I am ryding L'il Miss Muffet a lot more. I need an oil change about every third or fourth week. My dealer is GREAT. All updates and checks are done when I have the oil changed. I am just thinking that $200 at least every month is a little excessive if there are no updates to watch out for. Do most agree that bring it in every other oil change and doing the alternate oil change myself makes sense? I would keep the receipts for the oil and filter.

I agree. My dealership has done my oil changes for the 600 mile service and the 12,000 mile service. I've done every other change and I now sit at about 15,500 miles. Just did the 15,000 mile oil change last weekend.

Great feedback. Dealer did 600 mile with no codes or other fixes. I did 3,000 (BRP full syn) and now am just 500 miles from 6,000. No problems that would warrant dealer review, so I plan to do 6,000 myself. Once you do it, it really is an easy process. I document oil change with receipts and dated photos just in case there is a problem later.
