12 RS SE5 Has rough idle and trans (1st gear) chatters (like gears not meshing ) when starting from dead stop. Have silicone hoses, load tested battery, oil level right. Runs great other than this. Saw the same issue on the site but it had no post as to what it was,or if it was fixed. Could these 2 issues be tied together? Thanks

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well imho engine issues and trans. issues are two separate things. I'm glad to hear about the silicone hoses ( they could last forever ) .... how about the plug wires ??? ... it is well known the OEM wires deteriorate too quickly ..... BajaRon's are much better ( and less expensive ) .... can't help with the 1st gear chatter ( you do have proper amount and type of oil - right ? ) ...... good luck ..... Mike :thumbup:
