I think the short wire could have been a inch or so longer. While it does fit I found it a little tight. As far as performance, I haven't noticed much difference yet and really don't expect any from past experience but that may change a little as nanny adjusts a little over 6 or so runs. I bought them with the plugs for peace of mind.
Length of the wires for me were great...just enough, not a lot of excess to hang around...Took a little effort to wrestle one wire in place but it was explained beforehand in the instruction letter Ron sent along with the package. We had Len install the same package on the purple spyder we bought for Cindi. Ahhh...before I forget...thanks Len for arranging the transportation on Cindi's spyder up to us here...sure saved me a lot of time and I can't complain about the cost...I can attest that your customer service is everything people have previously expressed.
Sorry about just getting back on this, just wanted to give it several runs and I believe it is a little peppier but again that's not why I replaced the wires and plugs. As far as the one were being short, that's not the case as it fits but I just suggested an inch or two more for the short one as it is a close fit.I'm sorry that one of your wires was too short. If you would care to give me a measurement on that wire I will send you another one that is longer.

Have had the Ign Wires and New Sparks Plug fitted
A friend of mine helped me - The shorter wire was easy as the Cyclinder was closest
The far cyclinder was more difficult and we did consider having to remove the Airbox to get access - Could not see where the lgn wire
went as mine was threaded between the Cyclinders and back into the cyclinder head
I kept moving the lead and we could see it above the cyclinder and realised it could be done from the same side - a little tight but with
the correct Plug socket and small extensions it was removed and the new plug and lead installed
Getting the old wire out was difficult although it was not zipped tied the protective sleeving kept jamming against the 2 cyclinders
We cut some of this sleeving off and managed to get the old ign wire out
With the new lead it goes from the Coil direct to the far cyclinder - It is zipped tied away from the cyclinder head and because of this
it will be easier next time to get the boot off and replace the Spark Plugs on both cyclinders
I covered both the leads with new protective sleeving and colour coded them (3 small red zip ties) so a mech would know these are the Ignition Leads
So far the results have been impressive - Pick up seems to be better and the Spyder feels more responsive
