I installed my 4" risers and had the same problem. I took spydie apart and cut all cable ties and the throttle cables were still too small. I went to my dealer to get longer ones but BRP doesn't make longer ones. I had a guy here in San Diego make me a longer pair (he does them for harleys). For some reason that neither of us understood, the new ones kept binding. So, I had to go back to the dealer and buy another stock pair and install them. I've re-routed them every which way and anyway you look at it, they are still too short. One of the cables routinely popped out from under the metal hook and rubbed against the end of the metal hook. I had to put a rubber hose on the end so it wouldn't damage the cable. I'm very careful about not turning my spyder all the way to the right. I contacted the manufacturer (NMN) and they insist that the cables are not too short which is balony. I think no one says much about it because NMN advertises on the BRP site. Anyway, that's my dig on the whole issue. SpyderwomanHas anyone noticed that the throttle cables are the biggest restriction?
After I installed the 4" risers, I was not able to pull them back very far without causing a problem when turning the bars to the right. :dontknow:
Thanks for all the help, still having problems. All the tupperware is off but the back panels, and still not enough wire, if I've got the 1 inch riser, the dealer snuck it in on me. What's the vertical dimension on the standard riser? This is getting frustrating, I've already missed 3 good ryding days.

but have one question. Does the original plastic sleeve go (approx 1" long) next to the risers and which way does it face. There is an inside lip on one end. Also does anyone have a suggestion how to put the reverse lever back together?:dontknow:
